We are looking to recruit a Content Editor to join the Marketing team within our London office.
Summary
We are looking for a dynamic, self-motivated individual with experience and skills in web content management, writing and editing for the web, blogging platforms and site management .
The Content Editor is responsible for assisting the Head of Content Partnerships in all non-commercial content partnerships developed and managed as part of Internet Yellow Pages and the Local Portal. This includes acquiring, onboarding and relationship managing of all new content partners for the forthcoming Local Portal. This person will specifically be responsible for implementation and the day-to-day management.
The Content Editor will need to develop a fast understanding of the website’s objectives and work closely with technical, business development, and marketing members of our organisation, so strong communication skills are needed. Tasks require a strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines. The role holder will need to steer a clear path through a changing organisational structure, maintaining a clear focus on delivery of coherent content strategy in multiple countries.
Responsibilities
Assisting the Head of Content Partnerships in all content partnerships developed and managed as part of Internet Yellow Pages and the Local Portal.
Day-to-day management of content partnerships and exploitation of content
Managing third-party providers in line with their contracts with Yell
Monitoring the effectiveness of content against usage and engagement targets
Ownership of development epics, specifications and backlogs where appropriate
Working with global colleagues in engineering, search, SEO/SEM, marketing to fully exploit content partnerships and original content.
Working in conjunction with the Social and Community department to manage UGC content providers.
Ensuring compliance with all legal / regulatory / competition requirements
Required Skills
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
Advanced knowledge of content management systems.
A working understanding of site metrics would be a distinct advantage
Ability to manage large volumes of content in a fast-paced environment
‘Can do’ attitude and ability to hit the ground running
Solid experience managing content for high traffic websites
Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Technical Writing or a related field
In order to be considered for this role you must be able to demonstrate proof of eligibility to work in the UK and hold a valid work visa if applicable.
