As the Manager of the software development team, you will be responsible for technical leadership, project management, defining and delivering robust software defined by the roadmap. You will have responsibility for the output and delivery of a team of developers and software QA personnel: to plan, execute and deliver software products, which include user interfaces, CMS components and templates, metric and analytical tools and data analysis. This position will provide technical leadership for designing and implementing software solutions, using Agile methodologies, to achieve product and company goals.
This position has a large amount of discretion in the implementation of solutions and website architecture, working with other members of the genome team for conception and implementation of the UI, architecture and analysis tools which deliver a world class user experience. The role requires good communication skills, as there are a variety of international stakeholders, and great temperament under pressure.
